This is what happened at the end of a gastronomic journey in the south of France... After having had a wonderful meal at Fontjoncouse (blog entry to come), we hesitantly headed toward la Table Saint-Crescent in Narbonne without much expectation especially as we walked across a parking lot in an industrial zone to get in. Despite this unappealing neighborhood and the recent amazement of Gilles Goujon's work, we managed to get totally wowed by Lionel Giraud's cuisine.
I feel ashamed not having noted down the exact descriptions of the wonderful dishes. I wish I could have honored the work of the chef a little better. Undoubtedly the pictures will speak for themselves.
